A walk–thru of the phones I’ve owned over the years. It’s interesting to see how the devices
themselves have changed over time.
2002 — Motorola® T720
I had quickly become a fan of the clamshell style phone. This phone took it a step further and added the second
display so you could get a look at who was calling without having to open the phone. This was very convenient and
combined with the open to answer feature was a perfect match.
Another big feature at this time was polyphonic ringtones. These could play multiple notes at the same time and
provide a more musical experience. This also ushered in the era of downloading ringtones for your phone to differentiate
yourself from the rest of the crowd.
